Does anyone here have experience with generating some low poly models? We are in need of some decent low poly models for a upcoming product. Please PM me if you interested in helping Clickteam out! Ask questions here in the thread!

Thanks in advance for those who respond.

Polycount is not everything. I fear we need more informations.

Is it paid? Hobby Level, Mid Level, Professional Level? What about the rights at the graphics?

What exactly do you need? Buildings? Levels? Characters? Plants? File format? Texture resolution? Normalmapped? Style? Rig needed? Animation needed? What is it needed for in general? A strategy game with lots of characters onscreen needs much lower polycount than a jump n run ...

How much work is waiting here? Weeks? Months? Years? smile

I can make simple things, I can not Rig nor Animate as of yet. Only put me in if you are really really desperate.

The problem is, this may become a presentation project of what this new product is capable of. And so i wouldn`t really use hobbywork for such things. The new product would immediately loose with graphics that are not in AAA quality. People count from images, not from features most of the times.

Professionals though aren`t this cheap. But the difference to hobby work is worth every penny. That`s why i ask if it is paid. I have contact to more than one professional graphics artist. But they don`t work for free.

Currently i am working with a low poly model of the Sea Shepherd Vessel you see in Rhys example page at the beginning of this post, it weighs about 549 polys and is skinned with a single image. The model is in .Obj format. Rhys did a excellent job with it.

For the CC2010 I am simply looking for some volunteers to make models that can be quickly punched out so I can beef up my presentation a bit. But in the long term we will be seeking modelers for commercial work to build libraries and example game content once the object are done.

PM me if you are interested!

Sure, I am willing to consider anyone! After the CC2010 I will set down the various example types that will be included and that will spell out the content needed. Thanks Tiles
