Hello! I'm a great fan of clickteam and have the original Klik and Play! I want to make some games again after a long time and just want to know if I buy the MMF2 Developer now I will have the Java, Flash and other updates for free or is better for me to wait the newer releases?

If you buy MMF2 Developer now you would get the Java runtimes and the HWA runtime when they are all done. ( and could use the current beta versions of it right now )

The Flash runtime (and other future runtimes) will be a separate purchase for all the versions its available for.

I have a question, are the extra runtimes free with Developer, but need to be purchased for standard, or how does that work?

Not that it really matters for me, cause I have Dev, but just curious.

Standard doesn't have Java Mobile and Java for applications. Java internet applets only. That's it.

Flash will cost for both.

Will the Flash Runtime cost less for Developer than for Standard?

I don't believe there is a price difference, but then the whole pricing thing is still under discussion by Clickteam.

Its possible that some future runtimes will require Developer.

We just know every one will be interested in Flash and didn't want to force people to have Developer to use it.
Its also possible some extensions for Flash will only exist for Developer like they do when building an EXE.

I think it's important to add that if you should settle on buying MMF standard, there is nothing keeping you from upgrading to developer in the future.

if I remember correctly,the price of upgrading is just a little more than the price difference between the 2 products.

This is a very important information and maybe the reason for many to buy the Developer version.

Interesting to see that Java and HWA will be included. And it will be a great leap for MMF a runtime for flash and who knows the iPhone.

Yes the upgrade price from Standard to Developer is just the difference in price.

So if you start with standard and move up later you don't lose a bunch of money

I´m from Brazil, so I must pay in Euros and not in dollars? (international).

And if I buy the developer version, I must wait for the CD to arrives or I will receive a download link too?
