A Need for a object capable of using a attached Scanner. here is a brief overview of functions and actions, looking for input on suggested features for this one and any bids from developers.

Scanner Object

Actions

*Enumerate devices
*Set device
*set dpi
*Bit per pixel (1,4,8,16,24,32)
*Flatbed/Document Feeder
*set scan area X by Y (topleft) X by Y (bottomright) set area value (for multiple areas to scan)
* On error get error code and description
* Scan Preview
* Scan Full
* Scan Areas value x to value X (put 1 and 1 for one area)
* re-start scanner service
* Scan in Black/White
* Scan in Color

Conditions

*Is the scan complete
*is their a scan error
*Is device scanning

How about

scan black white
scan colour

How about a decent print object?

If you want a print object then PM Kisguri with the actions/events you want this print object to have.
So can I commission a dev to start making this object?

That's not very "Green" now is it

Paper is white, isn't it? The Inks are black, yellow, purple & blue and printers themselves normally come in black, grey or white?

Which leaves me at- what is "Green"? And what doe's it have to do with printing?

It shoudn't be called Green, that's too confusing, it should just be Enviromentally-Friendly.
