Is there any way to get the vitalize plugin working on a mac computer? thanks!

I'm afraid it's not possible to get it working directly on MAC OS.

I might be possible to install and run a windows version on a new mac and get it to run in that system, but that seems like a hazzle.

Your best bet is developing something that can be exported with the Java internet applet runtime instead, and embed that to a webpage.
